This fuel pump includes a new electrical connector harness. You will need to remove your existing electrical connector and install the new connector provided in order to install your new fuel pump (instructions are included with the pump).
This fuel pump is not a universal fit item. Because your vehicle’s original connector is prone to failure due to corrosion, cracking, loose pin housings, and wire crimp issues, the OE manufacturer has changed the shape of the connector, requiring the install of a new electrical connector during fuel pump service.

I have to purchase a special tool to remove fuel pump retaining ring. Another problem, it much hard to remove old fuel pump from gas tank. After I installed TRQ fuel pump on my 2004 Buick LeSabre, it works charmingly.
I am happy with the pump. Installation was fairly easy, the only thing that seemed odd was the one plug had to be switched out due to they say corrosion. It didnt fix the problem that I am having with my vehicle, but thats not any fault of the product. It was an educated guess that I took. I would recommend buying this pump to friends. I actually always recommend A1 Auto
The fuel tank does not need to be removed to install the new fuel pump and sending unit. The wiring harness will have to be butt-spliced into the existing wiring in the vehicle, but it is not difficult. This unit is located beneath an inspection plate, forward/right hand side of the trunk compartment, under the carpet. Relatively easy installation overall, about an hour and you'll have a functioning fuel gauge again!
He can find it on You tube. Should be very easy, I went through the access panel inside the trunk. Did not have to drop the gas tank.
