Install was fun but the included tool gets it done! One issue with them is apparently the shaft diameter on the inner tie rod is slightly smaller than oem so the boot doesn't fit tight with the OEM clamp but that can be remedied with a zip tie.
They give me a much smoother ride.., you can tell a major difference
I bought this kit for a 2002 Buick Lasabre. It was way cheaper than the local parts store. The removal tool that comes with the kit worked great, and I seriously doubt I could have removed inner tie rods without it. They have factory sealant on threads that are hard to remove. It would be in your best interest to heat the old inner tie rods with a heat gun at the portion that threads into rack and pinion. This helped me tremendously. Good luck!
