This is the second window regulator I bough from 1A Auto. The price is unbeatable. It is the version with improved quality parts in it. Compared to the first regulator, which I bought a few years ago, this one had a few issues with the threads of the fastening points for the exact same BMW model an year. Somehow the bottom two screw holes got changed from holes for self-threading plastic/wood screws to brass inserts for machine screws. The fastening hole/thread to the glass of the window needed recutting of the thread to be truly metric M5 compatible. Other than that I am very happy with the quality and smoothness of function. I would give it 5 stars if not for the thread issues.
