I replaced this for my father in law, I wished I would have taken a before picture and an after picture. This backup camera was plug and play, nothing else was needed. The camera is very clear now and I wished I would have done this sooner for him. It is very easy with star bits and should have taken 20 minutes in and out. My father in law hit something and the people who did the work did not route the cable properly. Now it does get dirty and wet from dew but just wipe and carry on. Its back to the day he bought the truck
Original camera picture quality was awful. Replaced it with this camera and glad I did. It's picture is way better than the original.
Easy to install and works great so far.
Easy instal, plugged right in to existing wiring. Maybe better than original camera, seems brighter with a wider view. Only difference was it left a small gap around the camera where it protrudes through the hole in the tailgate handle, the original had a rubber seal attached to the camera.
Pretty simple to Install. Follow the instruction in the owners Guide. Remove the license plate and the tailgate acess panel ,the camera is right there and the connector is behind the license plate. took about 30 min. Ty a string to assist in pulling the cable in and out.
What a difference!! Didn't realize how bad my camera was until I swapped it out for this one. Crystal clear image and easy to install. Shipping was fast and even when first order got lost by UPS they immediately sent out a replacement order. Highly recommend both the product and 1A Auto
I found a U Tube video of the job. It is rather simple. No need to adjust the cameras view, at least with my 2016, as it is built to be fastened only 1 way.
