So this bypasses the front electronic struts & makes the vehicle think they are there?

That is the intent. I installed the product, but used a different aftermarket bypass, which I had already purchased. Note, the shocks all ride good. But the replacement struts are longer than your worn out magnaride. You may have to unseat the upper ball joints to be able to fit them in. I did. Took a while to figure it out and get it done without damaging the ball joints, but it did work, and the suspension functions properly now.

I have a 2017 Chevy suburban with the premium smooth ride suspension, non-wlectric or air, can I use this kit to add air suspension to it?

As long as your vehicle is without electronic suspension this kit will be correct for your vehicle.

I have a 2015 GMC Yukon XL SLT with the Z85 Handling/Trailering, heavy-duty, air suspension **NOT MAGNERIDE Z95**. Is this the kit that will replace those shocks, struts and air compressor?
