Just what I needed. Performs as well as the oe and was easy to install. And the price was really good.
1st one was a little trouble but 2nd one was easier after learning my mistakes. My advice is to unscrew tip of struts and connect to the ball joint. Then screw the struts back together and then attach to car. Hope this helps.
Installed a couple weeks ago. At temperatures such as 15 deg F the hatch does not stay up. Lands on my head. Perhaps it needs time to break in?. No issues at warmer temperatures such as 30 deg F. Factory supports did not have this problem. Kit comes with everything needed including gaskets and pivot studs. The retaining clips are a great idea.
The support arms arrived on time and they were put on and the liftgate works perfect.
Fit 2014 Subaru Forester perfectly. Easy install. I found some cheaper online but had questionable reviews. 1A Auto has always been good for parts. Worth the extra few dollars.
They work GREAT. Better then new.
