TRQ CV (constant velocity) drive axles are manufactured using premium raw materials designed to restore original performance. TRQ CV drive axles are new, so there is no core charge with your TRQ purchase. TRQ-designed drive axles utilize neoprene boots, moly grease, stainless steel clamps, and heat-treated ball tracks to ensure extended service life. Each TRQ axle is application-specific so each spline and thread will mate properly for a seamless fit. These axles does not include the ABS tone ring.
You are going to have to get custom axles for any vehicle with more than 3 inches of lift to avoid binding within the CV joints. Check with the manufacturer of your lift kit as often times they do offer them. These parts are only intended to replace your factory OEM parts.

If youre working on a Ram, this is all you need unless your intermediate shaft, pilot bearings and seals are also bad. The driver side uses an inner axle shaft (the short piece) along with an axle paired together in the front differential guided by pilot bearings with a pressed seal.the passenger side though is farther away from the diff gears and requires a longer shaft (the intermediate shaft) to connect the CV axle to the gears. 9 times out of 10 you do not need to replace the intermediate shaft as its a solid chunk of metal, however I do recommend removing it and replacing the pilot bearings and seals on each side before installing your new CV axles.
