Tips on fixing the AC/Heater Defrost mode issue
If you are running into an issue where the mode button changes on the screen but the air doesn't come out where it is supposed to, this is the part. Changing the part requires getting into a tight spot and I recommend a stubby Phillips screw driver. Also I would recommend holding the part in place before screwing it on and cycle through the modes so that both flaps fall within the grooves of the large white mode sprocket. The. Screw it into place. I ran into an issue that I installed it but it still didn't fix the issue only to have to remove it again and adjust the flap pins with the gear. Also to remove the gear off of the old actuator you will need a flat head screw driver to push back the white clip holding it in place. 1aauto is awesome and this part fixed my problem and shipping was very fast.
