No, I could tell that it was not quite the same quality as the one that came with my 2011 RAV4. But it looked fine and installed fine. It was just a bit lighter and maybe more cheaply made. But, once I got it installed, I never thought about that again.

Although I did not see any markings saying they are Toyota OEM, they did work for me. I too tried the Amazon units and had the same results. This visor to date has held up and I have had no issues with it.

They are not the original as far as I can tell, but I couldn't tell the difference where quality is concerned. One thing I did notice, however, was that when the visor was pulled down and around to the side window (to block the sun coming in from your left (on driver's side), you had to be careful or the visor would come out of the mounting hole in the roof. Now, I rarely if ever use it on the side, and just to be safe, wrapped some very thin wire around the "grab bar" (top right of visor) on the visor securing it to the "receiver" on the roof of the car so that one can't pull the visor over to the driver's window. It can still be brought down to block the sun coming directly through the windshield, and--most importantly--stays firmly in place when stowed back up against the ceiling. It has completely solved the drooping visor problem that plagued me for years in my otherwise well designed RAV4. Excellent product in my four years of having it.
