Perfect fit for bolts and electronics. I was not sure if the electronic board would be included that is attached to the fans, but it was included. This make it super easy to replace.
The fan looked and fit fine but the control box not working properly. When the computer called for high fan the fans cut off. Low speed was the only speed that worked. The fan also did not come with a heat shield as the original equipment did. I purchased my own and installed it. It is required because of the close proximity to the exhaust. I called 1-A and informed them of the issue as explained by the certified Ford mechanic and I promptly received a refund. The Ford cost was much higher.
Long story short, the ECU for the fans was no good out of the box. I swapped my original ECU onto the assembly and everything worked. 1A Auto offered to send a replacement, but it is currently back ordered. I was offered a full refund. Everything worked out great in the end and I can't say enough good things about the customer service I received. I will be purchasing more parts from 1A Auto in the future!
Found A1 after a shop told me $750 for just the part and more with labor ,I saved $600+ and after the video in the library 35 minutes was all it took.Cant beat that so now i orders all my parts from A1 Auto.
The difference between the parts will just be the brands. This is an aftermarket version of the part whereas Dorman is a name brand. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further questions.
Yes it did. But it failed 1.5 years later. Bought one with 3 year warrantee somewhere else
