Great quality, packaged really well. Fan are working great, it fixed my A/C problem.
Part fit perfectly. The holder was a little flimsier than I would have expected but after having the part installed for 3 weeks no complaints.
Exact fit easy install . Arrived on time . Solved overheating and a/c issues.
Perfect fit. Ordered a replacement from Auto Zone first, which was individual separate fans that had to be mounted in my shroud. I had to send it back because the wiring harnesses weren't compatible. This one was perfect for my 2012 VW Jetta TDI, and the complete unit was simpler and quicker to manage than the individual fans. Took about 20 minutes to get the old one out. About 15 minutes to get the new one in. It took longer to jack up the car. And I'm a middle aged mom with no mechanical experience who can't even change her own oil. My (ex)mechanic quoted me $1200 for this job.
Couldn't be happier having found 1A Auto and their YouTube video on replacing these!! I was due for service on my '09 Jetta TDI Sedan, and my usual VW TDI Diesel guru closed shop! I panicked! Tried a local import VW-Audi shop, supposedly on same level. Well, no diesel expertise, but they say they do a few diesels. I should've ran! ...but turned out to not be my DPF having rough Regen cycles...vibration was simply a broken fan / shroud! Shop treated me like a fool, quoting both fans and shroud separately, adding an unneeded radiator (no leaks, intact they said!), over $1300 in parts, and $477 in labor! So I went to a second shop, transparently showed him 1st shop's "estimate"...asking him to be honest with me...was he? NO! Rather than show me how much better he could do, (it was obvious what was wrong!!), he had gall to say he'd charge me another Diag Scan (showed him results not 1 hour old!)...this one at $275!!, instead of the currently-common $100 or $125! Did he figure I was com
Yes this will fit your 2005-2016 VW Jetta L4 2.0L Diesel.
My understanding is that the control module is built into the fan. My control module on my 2012 VW Jetta TDI was out. I installed this part, and that fixed everything. But Im not a mechanic. Im just a mom who knows how to Google things.
Yes, according to the information you provided, this part will fit your vehicle.
