2009-14 Ford F150 Truck with 7 Pin Connector without Reverse Proximity Sensors Trailer Wiring Harness Ford OEM 9L3Z-15A416-A

The connector seems to be well-made and was easy to install on my 2013 F150. However, the design of the covers is poor. Maybe that was an OEM design, but it's still really bad. I need to plug my slide-in camper into the 7-pin and my utility trailer into the 4-pin. Unfortunately the covers open back-to-back which means only one can be open at the same time. I ended up cutting the 4-pin cover off with a hacksaw.

perfect fit for my 2013 f150. easy install

My 2010 Ford F150 XLT did not have factory tow package. After looking under the rear of the truck, under the driver side dash and in the fuse block under the hood, it was only missing this rear harness end. I purchased a brake controller with Ford adapter, plugged both connectors in and it all works. Already had class III uhaul hitch installed by previous owner which had the 4 way adapter installed only. Had to fabricate my own bracket, but that was easy.
