In this video, we going to show you how to replace the torque strut mount on this 2005 Ford Focus and the tools you'll need are a jack and jack stands and a 13mm socket and ratchet and a 13mm wrench.
Your torque strut mount is located right here. You can see it's held in with two 13mm bolts: one here and one right here. You want to start off by just removing those. We'll just fast forward as Don removes both of them. Push the torque strut mount back and then next you want remove these two 13mm bolts on this bracket. You want to use a wrench and another wrench so you can have some added leverage here and just break those bolts free. Then you can just remove them the rest of the way and you'll see he starts off using a wrench but then he switches to using a socket and ratchet. Now repeat this same process for the upper bolt. For this one, it may be easier to use the socket and ratchet from up above. Then once you twist out that last bolt, you can just pull that bracket and the torque strut mount down.
Take your new torque strut mount and put it up into place and push your bracket in place. It's easier to do the top bolt first. Just replace that bolt and tighten it up. We'll just fast forward as he replaces the other bolt and tightens both of those up. Once the bracket is tightened into place, replace your two bolts on your torque strut mount and tighten those up.

Fit as it should, got rid of the excessive vibration.
I purchased this set for a 2008 Ford Focus. At idle it was loud due to vibration and the underside of the hood was covered in oil like fluid from old motor mount cracking. All 3 of these mounts fit right up no problem. Pretty simple job. Only difference with the passenger side mount is that you re-use your current bracket unlike some that come complete. Vibration gone and is now smooth as silk! Thanks 1A Auto!

Purchased the parts that said would fit my 2009 focus the engine mount and top transmission mount did not fit correctly waiting on customer service to reply to my return request. Purchased correct parts from ford k owing they would fit.

Replaced the upper motor mounts on my daughter's Focus. Those two took some of the vibration out, but still need to replace the lower. She didn't give me enough time to finish all three (you know how college kids are). The car has just over 200k on it, so it was way overdue to replace them anyway. Also, the parts arrived before the projected delivery date. That really helped with the time frame. Thanks again.

This kit will have the passenger side engine mount bushing.
This kit is listed to fit all 2008-2011 Ford Focu's with the 2.0L engine. These parts are not specific to transmission type.
The video is for only one of the mounts, the lower torque strut. I found videos on youtube for the other two mounts.
The actual material used to make these parts is not available. Although, the parts are built to the exact same specs of the original equipment parts for the vehicles shown on the Vehicle Fit tab.
