Fit perfect and fixed the issue
It's a pain to change but that is Mazda not the hub assemblys fault. Changed it out and all noise is gone. To soon to see if it lasts as expected but so far so good.

No both side are the same for my 2008 Mazda CX-9. You can put on either side. Mt suggestions is to replace the transfers case axle seal while you have everything apart it take another 10 minutes for that, rather then taking everything apart again down the road.
