I had to install item 3 times and remove it twice. The plastic connector that connects to the external door handle mechanism would not lock in place, I had to remove the connector from the old unit and put it on the new one then it snapped locked with no trouble and worked perfectly.
The part fits and works well. The price was good. I used the yellow clip from the original part because it worked better for me.
The clip attaching the door handle rod was not made to spec and wouldn't close around the rod.
