2007 Subaru foresters X first perfect
2 years ago we purchased our 2007 Subaru Forester with 150k+ miles. Cornering, pot holes, and multi-passenger ride all indicated struts were worn out. First purchased on Amazon, but struts sent did not fit, and returned for refund, week lost with waiting. Purchased from A1 Auto and confirmed suitability through chat. Sold as pairs, all 4 Struts arrived 2 days later. Struts have same appearance as OEM. Each wheel took about 45 minutes. Biggest issue was existing struts were orginal and bolts hard to remove. It took penetrating oil and cheater pipe on 19 mm wrench, but eventually all came loose.without damage. I learned there is a trick to front replacement. The entire wheel assembly rotates outward when strut is removed. The wheel drive shaft is keyed, and won't return to vertical position again unless exactly aliagned with drive shaft key. Once you realize this, its not hard to find the correct position by rotating hub back and forth by hand while pressing inward, and assembly wi

These struts are specific to replace front struts on a 2006 Forester, does NOT replace self-leveling struts. In your case these will not fit.
