It was a perfect fit.

It was a little tough removing. But, the reward was outstanding. I still hate sheet metal products. Like the door inner skin. Sharp edges, normal skin cuts. The hardest part was removing the window from its base. I thank you for the replacement part and helpful hints on replacing this item. Ps. I love watching the window go up and down. That's what I paid for and you delivered Thank you for your help!

Seems like excellent quality. Exact fit. Lifetime replacement warranty is definitely a 'nice to have' feature.
Customer Q&A
How do you separate the rear window from the base? Is there a special tool needed?

The bottom of the window has a hole with a plastic grommet. This allows the window to pop in smoothly but is a pain to get out. You basically have to manhandle it and pry open the clip that hooks into that grommet in the window. It can be done by hand but isn't always easy.

After trying very hard to part the window from the plastic clip, I ended up using an oscillating saw to carefully cut one side off. The window slipped up and out. Afterwards pull the window as high as possible to allow the removal of the old mechanism and replace it. Slowly raise the new mechanism and it should just clip into the window.

Hello, This usually requires removal of a retaining clip that is holding the tray to the regulator. They can be hard to remove, but the window glass will then be freed and the old regulator can be removed. Thanks!

No. In the center of the bottom of the glass, there is a circular hole in the glass for a round plastic wedge; the wedge holds the glass onto the window motor lift. Be sure not to break or lose the wedge as you will need it to re-secure the window onto the new motor.

There is a nylon bushing which goes through a hole in the window. It has a hexagon hole in it. Align it with slot in metal track, by moving window up or down, to remove bushing. If you are able to turn it with an allen wrench, it will be easier to tap out. After removing bushing, secure window up with tape and replace regulator. Depending on new regulator may need to save hardware. Good luck-hope this helps!
