I thought about taking the Jeep in for repair but decided i needed to do it myself. It was so easy, 10 minutes and 50 bucks and my Jeep hatch works like new. A perfect experience.
This item was to easy to replace and the price was reasonable. Also, it is durable and sturdy.
This lift support was the perfect OEM fit for my Jeep. It was super easy to install and heavy duty as well as a great price.
I purchased a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the rear hatch pistons needed replacing. I received them quicker that I expected and also they were over $50.00 cheaper than at a local auto parts store.
The struts came on time, had instruction although it is pretty self explanatory. They seemed a bit more fortified that the OEM ones on the car which was reassuring.
New hardware is not included with this item. You may be able to reuse your original hardware if it is in good condition.
