Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace and service your taillights on this 2005 Ford Focus. There are no tools required for this. All you need are new taillights from 1AAuto.com.
On the back of your taillight you'll see these three thumb screws. We'll just fast-forward as Don twists those out by hand. Once those are removed your taillight pulls out. To disconnect these harnesses, push in on the tabs and pull it free. They can be a little difficult to remove. Just move them back and forth while pushing in those tabs, and eventually they will pull free.
To service your taillight bulbs, just twist the socket out, pull the old bulb out, push the new one in, and twist your socket back into place. For this bulb, it's the same thing. Just twist it out, pull the bulb out, push the new one in, and twist the socket back into place.
Reconnect your two harnesses, line up the studs on the taillight, and push it back into place. And we'll just fast-forward as Don replaces those three thumb screws.

Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to replace and service your third brake light on this 2005 Ford Focus. The only tool that you're going to need for this is a flat blade screwdriver.
Open up your trunk and on the back of your third brake light you'll see these two clips. Using a flat blade screwdriver pry out the center and pull it free. Then pull out the bottom part and that third brake light should pop free. Now, you want to disconnect this harness. Push the tab and pull it free.
To access your bulbs, you want to push in on these metal tabs and pull up on the plastic part. Do the same thing on this side, and for any bulbs left behind just pull them out and push them back into place. If you want to replace a bulb you just pull it out, push the new one in and then line up this light bracket and push it back into the third brake light assembly. Making sure all those tabs are reconnected, replace your harness. Push the third brake light back up in place and replace the bottom part of the clip and then the center. Do the same thing on the other side and you're all set.
