Highly recommend. Excellent product. More than meet my expectations. Exact fit. Hatch now opens with very little effort. Holds hatch open securely. Takes some effort to close hatch. Considerably stiffer than OEM when 04 Tahoe was new. Very quick shipping and delivery. Recommend using extra person to hold door open when installing. Excellent Replacements for the Original Parts
The liftgate supports were shipped on time and arrived as scheduled. The old supports were easy to take out, requiring removal of a metal clip at each end. The new supports were a fraction of an inch longer than the factory supports, but I was able to get the new ones installed by installing a new support to the liftgate, then with assistance of a helper, pushed the liftgate up a bit higher until the lower end of the new support snapped into place. Put the metal clips on .. and you're ready to go. The new supports are a definite improvement over the old (almost worn out) supports they replaced.
