2006 Corolla with 175K. Watching the TRQ video really helped, although keep in mind it's always a bit more hassle if you're laying on the ground with the car jacked up, rather than up on a lift. I only needed to do the passenger's side (torn boot), but I ordered both because it was more cost effective. I decided to do the driver's side as well, since the passenger's side went so well. A pry-bar or cold-chisel will be necessary to wedge the old axles out of the transmission. I will tell you right now that the driver's side is harder to do; less space and wiggle room to work with. Overall, the job took a bit over 2 hours. I tested the car at various speed, under load, cornering and braking, etc. Smooth axles; no vibrations or noise. I expect these to last for the remainder of the car's life.
A thousand miles later and they're still good
