In this video, we'll be showing you tail light room replacement on this 2003 Dodge Neon same as any 2005 Dodge or Plymouth Neon. The only tools you'll need are a pair of pliers and a 13 millimeter wrench. Okay, so we're going to start in the trunk here, the tripod and first we got to do is we remove this little trim tab or kind of hole in the band. Just kind of work your pliers underneath. Give it a good pull. Okay. It comes out and then you pull this back and you've got three 13 millimeter bolts here, 13 millimeter wrench or a good pair of pliers will do it. I'm going to use an air ratchet just to go fast.
Now, if you're looking just to replace the bulbs, you don't have to take those bolts off. Maybe just twist the bulbs out, pull them off. I'll just keep them done and then this upper one is your backup light, twist it out, okay. You can do that if you damaged your tail light. And it got all that's to it. Okay, put your new one back in. Now this, you don't have any reason to be, you know that car with the red tape on the tail light. It's easy enough to buy these tapes from 1A Auto and easy enough to put it back in. Put these nuts back on. Okay, I'm going to use my air ratchet. I'm going to do the final tightening by hand so I don't get it too tight. I'm going to put the parking light and then your bulb, turn. Then put back my trim. This should go under this piece here. Then press this one back in.
