I like the handle. It seems better built than the one it replaces. The cover was not necessary and I wish I had known at the time I ordered that I could get the handle alone. The tailgate locks and unlocks more smoothly and there is no junk or impediments when using the key (which I could not say for the handle that broke.

I TOOK MY TRUCK TO THE DEALER TO REPLACE THE BROKEN TAIL GATE HANDLE. THEY SAID IT WOULD COST $540 TO REPLACE IT AND IT WOULD TAKE HALF A DAY. $200 FOR THE PART AND $340 LABOR I SAID NOWAY. SO I WENT ONLINE TO 1A AUTO GOT THE PART FOR $40 THEY SHIPED IT I GOT IT IN 2 DAYS AND IT TOOK 35 MIN TO INSTAL IT. THANKYOU 1A AUTO.
