Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to remove and reinstall a front grille on this 2003 Honda CR-V. The only tools you'll need are a flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver.
Open up your hood and you'll want to remove six body clips: two here, another one here, one here that's missing, and then these two here. These come off pretty easily. Just use a screwdriver and pry up the center pin. Then once you pull that up some, you can then also pry up the clip itself. Just a little bit of fast-forward as I remove those pins. Once you have those out, the bottom of the grille should pull out. Lift that up and pull it right out.
The bottom of the grille has two clips here that just slide on to pins here. When you're putting a new grille on, you may to need to use a Phillips screwdriver and remove all these screws that allows this chrome bezel to come off and then go on your new grille if necessary. To put it back on, you want to just put it in place, and lift this up and slide this under, and then reach in behind. You can see your clip right in there. Make sure that the grille slides in right there. Then also do the same thing on this side; make sure it slides right in there, at the top here. Everything slides into place. Put your connectors back in.
