If you want to see where you're going and add a modern look, this is the headlight for you
These are simply the best headlight replacements for this generation of the Ranger. I wasn't replacing them for esthetics but I have to admit the semi halo's really look sharp on my fairly clean 02 Ranger XLT. The reason I was replacing them is because the stock headlights just do not perform well. My goal was usable light down the road to actually see, mainly deer as I do a lot of night traveling on back country roads for long distances. If you have any experience with lighting you know that LED bulbs in incandescent housings look bright when you're looking at them but in reality just blind other drivers and it is totally unusable light as it just shines everywhere as there is no real beam. With these housings, they are not multi-reflector design like the poorly designed OEM housings. Installed some Silverstar Ultras and now I can see down the road and in the ditches.

just installed these and the LED tail light assembly today, The fit was rock solid and the wiring was simple.Just on problem, the left directional stays lit on the dash. It's probably something simple to fix being its only happening on one side. Gonna call their Tech support on Monday.Hopefully they will have a fix for this.

Something I wish I had when ordering this.

The only problem I have is when you adjust the headlights upwards they are made of a thinner plastic so it ended up bending the adjuster where I can move it further than it is or lower

I have a 1999 ford ranger xlt that I'd really like to buy headlights just like these for, please tell me there's a product available for rangers prior to 2001?
Buy the header panel ,headlight brackets (x4) , hood and these headlights for the 2004 Ranger. I am upgrading my 98 Ranger as well doing this . Good headlight for projector retrofit.

The item description indicates the included lamps require replacement prior to install. What lamps are are required?
For my 2010 Ranger XL the side marker bulbs are 914's A or NA, the turn signal (A or NA for Amber coated) are 3157's, A or NA, and the High/Low beam combo bulb is 9007, clear "white"; I would do Sylvania Long Lifes for the first two and the Sylvania SilverStar 9007. If you have relatively new bulbs already in your O.E. straight from Ford headlight assembly and are satisfied with them, just transfer what you have, otherwise buy new which is probably the better option. New assembly, new bulbs makes sense.
