SO happy to find this item on your web site. Got the mirror and was able to install it myself. I'm sure that I saved a lot of money by doing this instead of having a dealership take care of it. THANK YOU!
The part was very well made and looks good except where it attaches to the door. The long narrow section that should fit snuggly against the door does not. I have tried clamping it and will probably drill it and put a screw in it. It seemed to match the old mirror but when installing it the plastic did not fit flush.
not too happy with it. It moves left and right but it wont move up and down.
My replacement side mirror suffers two key defects: 1) on the outside, the upper corner of the mounting flange does not lay back enough to fit the door metal, and the gasket fails to fill the void, which two conditions will permit water entry to the door interior, and 2) on the inside, the length and the range of motion of the mirror adjustment post are both too small. I cant get the mirror into the correct plane for normal use. Instead I have to move my upper body and head to use the mirror.. All in all, a fail.
Everything fit great very pleased with the product .
The product and service was great
In retrospect I would have gone with a Toyota genuine part or gone through amazon. It took almost two weeks to ship when I was told five to seven days. Installation is easy but it doesnt fit well. There is a gap where the top pointed part meets the door. And worst of all: the mirror only adjusts so far up.. I am looking at the ground behind me, not vehicles.
This item arrived way early and fit exactly into place. the mirror seems of good clarity and the manual adjust works well! Thank you.
