Overall great fit and handle function. Retaining spring for key tumbler needs a bit of preloading to ensure it holds in the key tumbler. Suggest saving and reusing stock retaining spring.
Part installed. The handle seems very weak like it's ready to break. I just hope it does not break.

Installation was easy after watching the video. I had to fight with my stock latch for year. My Girlfriend finally broke the latch, so I replaced it and now it is so smooth!

The tailgate latches (you refer to them as locks in your question) are available for the 2000-2006 Tundra. Start at the top of the page and search for tailgate latch or either of these OEM part numbers: 65780-0C010, 65790-0C010
