A great replacement. Very easy to install and all hardware is included. The cables are new and engineered to hold if you drop the tailgate. Nice plastic around the cables. Happy with purchase.
The new product looks great....but during installation, I noticed the metal spring latches, that keep the cable eyelet attached at the truck frame, were loose and not doing the job. Further inspection revealed that the spring latches were only crimped on one side. The original is crimped on both sides and provides the latch with the proper tension. Therefore I question, if the manufacturer is trying to save 2 cents on the latch, can I trust the integrity of the cable and the bolts???? I don't think so!!
Very good quality, fast shipping, and surprised 1a auto is the only ones that I could find that offered all the hardware with the tailgate cables at a very reasonable price.
I would recommend buying this part for Tundra tailgate cable replacement
