These aren’t super expensive but I find them much easier to hold the caliper during a repair than a bungee cord. Then I can focus on the brake line and making sure it doesn’t pinch.
They work great and wish I bought them years ago. The spare one was a great stocking stuffer for my son.

the "1AXAA00439-2 Piece Brake Caliper / Parts Hanger Hook Set TRQ TLK01004" set has nothing to do with windows. its used tor temporarily holding brake parts during maintenance.
The branded brake line should not support the weight of the caliber while changing out rotator and pads, i had to bend one end open a bit to accommodate a existing hole in the frame to hang the brake caliber from. No more bent twisted hose or accidentally smashing my fings from a precariously balance caliber.
