You can check if your vehicle has a mono beam by looking underneath the front end: If you see one solid axle connecting both front wheels without a pivot in the center, you likely have a mono beam suspension. If there are two separate beams, each attached to the frame at different points, then you likely have a twin I-beam suspension.
