Time consuming fix but easy at the same time
The alignment, suspension and steering on my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis was shot. Bushings on the upper and lower control arm were practically destroyed. The steering linkages were moving in ways they shouldn't. While pricing parts at the local auto parts store, the price for all of the replacement bushings alone were over $200, and I still had to press them into the fittings, which would be $150 for each bushing if I had a shop do it. The price quickly started getting out of hand. I found this kit while searching online for better ways to do this job. I also bought new coil springs and struts with the money I saved by using this kit. My car now drivers like a brand new car. I highly recommend this kit.
I'm giving two stars because the ball joint nut on lower control arms came loose by themselves, The right side one came completely off, had to have the car towed to my house, I replaced both lower control arms with MOOG brand for peace of mind.
Everything fit no problems. I would recommend this product.
absolutely perfect fit my opinion better than stock original equipment everything fit perfect everything worked like it is supposed to all the parts came pre-greased nothing to complain about highly recommend thanks #1 a AUTO
I'm still putting it on have not tested it yet but overall it fits in look good so far
i found the parts that i needed without much problems and they were shipped to me in a timely manner. i think that the parts are top notch and fit great. it saved me alot of money and alot of hassles by coming through you. i will keep coming through you or my parts and i recommend you to everyone
The parts I ordered were shipped quickly and arrived on time. Parts seemed to be of good quality (so far). The only thing I really would liked to have had differently in the order would have been to have NEW LOWER CONTROL ARM BOLTS !! Had to cut out old ones and the new ones were almost impossible to find!!! Should know how the parts last after I drive the car a few hundred miles............... Good Job 1A Auto
I used these parts for my 2002 Lincoln Town Car. The Town Car is not really a performance type of car, but as far as smoothness, steering response etc. I'd give 5/5 stars. Also with a little pre-existing mechanical inclination and a few YouTube videos it's a fairly easy DIY..

This kit is not listed to fit any 2011 models. We do have several kits listed for your vehicle, but they are all out of stock at this time and we do not have a reliable ETA for the kit to be back in stock at this time.
We have a few different aftermarket companies build these parts specifically for us, as our 1A Auto house brand. They are manufactured to the same OEM specifications as the original part that came with your vehicle. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Torque specifications will not be included, but if you refer to a repair manual or search through an automotive forum you will be able to obtain these specifications.
