Brought to you by 1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. Hi, I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money preparing and maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 21 plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly, that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video we'll be replacing the parking light on this 98 Toyota Camry, with the lovely snow falling around it, same as any 97 to 01 Camry. The only tool you'll need is a flat blade screwdriver. Remove the parking light by using a screwdriver. The little clip right on here on top, you pull up the middle of the clip top and then you get under the clip and pull it out. Actually at this point the parking light is just clipped in to the headlight and the fender, so you'll to want to firmly- it's a little hairy here- but just firmly pull out on that. Now I've got to unclip it from the fender, thread on the headlight and reach in and then gently loose the headlight and pop it off. Then, the bulb twists out of the parking light, and there.
You could now replace your parking light or service the bulb if you need to by twisting it and pulling it out. To install the parking light put the bulb back in and twist to lock it. Then you have a tab here that's going to go into here, and then this tab is going to go into the headlight. First you've got to work that underneath, put the light up against the fender and up against the headlight. Just make sure you get everything lined up all right. It should too high or too low there, and it falls back in. Then you've got your clip. Pull the middle up, push the clip down and it's locked in place, and there you go.

Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace your front corner light housing or your front turn signal housing on this 1998 Toyota Camry. This information is going to be the same from 1997 to 1999. While we're doing the driver's side here, this process is going to be exactly the same for the passenger's side of the vehicle. The items you'll need include a new corner light housing from 1AAuto.com, as well as a long, thin, flat blade screwdriver.
Open the hood and secure the hood prop. Using a flat blade screwdriver, pop out the plastic connector at the top of the turn signal. Using a thick paper towel or a rag, protect the inside edge of your headlight and insert the flat blade screwdriver between the headlight and turn signal housings. Push in and pry on the tab to release the turn signal housing. When the tab is released, pull out on the turn signal housing so you can access your bulb. Push down on the tab to release the connector.
Here, we have our old part that we removed from the vehicle and our new part from 1AAuto.com. As you can see, we have the same size and shape. Our old one's gotten a little foggy. There's some dirt and debris building up in the bottom corner here. While our new one is nice and clear, it's going to reflect light very well, making you more visible. We have the same tab on the top for the retainer pin to hold into. We have the same tab in the rear to lock into the fender. The same tab for the retainer on top. The same clip to lock it into the side of the headlight housing. As well as the same bulb, bulb socket, and the same three-pin connector. If your old front turn signal housing has become cracked, damaged, cloudy, or filled with water, then this new part from 1A Auto is going to go in, direct fit, just like your original equipment, and fix you up right.
Be sure to line up the outside tab with the slot in the fender, and the inner tab with the slot on the back of the headlight. This being the one on the headlight and the notch in the fender. Reconnect your electrical connector. Once all your tabs are lined up, pop the housing into place, pop the outer retainer into the hole, pop the inner portion of the retainer in to lock it into place.
As always, after completing any repair, be sure to check for proper operation of the system you worked on. We'll turn our key on, check for operation of our left directional as well as our parking lamp. Move the hood prop, close your hood, and you're ready to go.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.

Side lens for Toyota Camry
E
December 29, 2020
Though I requested the clear Diamond one I was lucky enough to repair it.
It was a misunderstanding of needing the correct Diamond series lamp lens I called 1 a auto they removed the charge from my debit card. & The item was donated to auto vocational center.
That's service no other parts company does.
You will not find the true Quality and best price no where else other than 1 A AUTO just ordered $280.00 in head lights and running light from 1A Auto the other day more parts still to come for 3 Toyota Camrys I own. I trust 1AAut for my parts needs. Wish the had a store here they would put a serious decline in customer's going to the big auto parts chain stores & their huge price mark ups that O'Riley's Napa Advance auto and Auto Zone do Here in Evansville Indiana. Glad I'm a 1 A auto customer love their helpful parts replacement video"s as with the side lens here very helpful and informative Thanks 1 A Auto more orders soon in 2021.
Sincerely Eddie Burnette.
