Mostly like OEM. Install fasteners needed different than OEM and are NOT included. Also lock securing screw that is included is too short.
This does not come with any mounting screws. The old handle screws do not fit this handle.
Matched the part perfectly
The drivers side exterior door handle was great, fit my 2001 Camry perfectly. My only problem was the previous handle was secured with self tapping screws into plastic, the new handle had metal inserts. Because the new part didn't come with screws, I had to find metric machine screws at the hardware store to get the job done.
Fit and looked fine, but does not include replacement bolts. Original are self tapping into plastic but the replacement has metal threads. Will need two metric sized bolts.
Amazing quality
Door handle matches exterior well and fits well, however the original hardware didn't match the threaded holes on the TRQ handle. I had to go to the hardware store, lame.
Works perfectly. Not too tough to install. Seems about the same quality as the original.
Fit was pretty good. Very slight gap on right side near lock. Looks like car body had slight curve and handle bezel is flat. Did have to purchase M6 screws as the existing screws from the 98 Camry were self tapping not machine screws. Not quite as sturdy feeling as the original handle, but seems to do the job. Video from QR was helpful, didn't require as much take apart as video on product page. Still a tricky install getting rods out of old clips. Went back together easier than take-down.
No, this part will not fit the 2000 Toyota Solara. We do carry the front pair of exterior door handles for your vehicle. The part number is DHA37213. These handles come black and can be painted by the buyer.
You will need three bolts to secure this part to your door on the backside. The three M6 x 12MM may be accurate based upon your existing mounting hardware. You may reuse the existing lock cylinder and clips to secure the connecting rods on the backside too.
