I originally bought a 15 dollar Darwenxy hood release cable from Amazon, but it broke after 3 months on a cold day despite ample lubrication. I purchased this 1A Auto cable from this website on Dec 15, and tracking indicated that the product was received by the carrier the same night. The website had said guaranteed delivery by Dec 18th, but the carrier had some delays during the holiday season. I didn't end up getting the package until Christmas Eve. I don't blame 1A Auto for that. The baggie it came in was labelled TRQ, which seems to be the actual name of the brand/manufacturer. Now, the image on the hood release handle didn't match the factory look exactly, but this isn't an issue to me. The cable itself was obviously much higher quality than the 15 dollar one I had bought from Amazon. The metal connector at the end was thicker (stronger), and the cable immediately pulled and released much better even before spraying some grease on it. To replace the hood release cable with b

A-1 had a good price and shipped very fast, as for product quality you can tell it's not the best. The plastic handle is visibily cheap and the cable length is incorrect. For a 20 year old Jeep it will work fine but its definitely a low quality knockoff of an original part
