Hi I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing or maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20 plus years' experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video we will be showing you how to replace a taillight on this 1995 Accord, same as any 94 to 97 Accord and the only tool you'll need is a 8 mm socket with a ratchet and extension.
If you've had a little incident and you've broken a taillight or you just need to replace the bulbs, I'm going to take you through that. It actually starts in the trunk. There's supposed to be a little access panel and you see it's missing on this side, on this side, here it is, it just has a little lock and it comes off. We're going to concentrate over here. Trunk here, if you just looking to replace your bulbs it's easy enough, you just twist and pull out and then the bulbs pull out of a socket; same thing with the upper one I think and another one here. Now if you want to replace your whole assembly there's just 4 bolts and they're 8 mm. There's 2 up here that have these little wire clips on them, pull off the wire clip. If one of the clips doesn't want to come off just use a screwdriver, a little force and now remove these 4 8 mm nuts, one is right down here.
Okay and you may run in to this where this one is broken and I'll show you what to do afterwards. Okay, so then the taillight comes out and you can see this stud broke. What you'll want to do is just get a little wrench and put the wrench on there and then get that stud out of there. Now you can see here, here's obviously our original light, here's our new one from 1A Auto. All the mounting points are the same and obviously that studs not broken and then obviously on the other side it looks all the same just a little brighter and shinier. The only one thing we will do is we'll take the gasket off of this original one and put it on the new one. Okay, so this is a 10 mm little nut here, that's on and now it comes right off. I have my nut to use on the new light. Okay, so we have our new light with the gasket all on. Feed it right in, looking from the back side to line up the studs.
Okay, so now we put our 8 mm nuts back on. They don't need to be incredibly tight, they just need to be firm, hand tight; snug. Then put these wire clips back on to keep it up and out of the way. Okay and then this one is our backup light, put that in and lock it. Okay, our signal, actually I guess this one goes down here. It looks like they are kind of keyed so you can only put them in the right place. Okay, this one does go up here, and twist, and then this one, and twist. Now test it out and you should be all set.

This is a quality unit. As far as I can tell it is identical to the original. The 1A Auto video mentions transferring the gasket from the old unit to the new assembly but this one came with a new gasket.
