Seem to work fine with 15k of hard use
Upon receiving my new tie rods, my Toyota 4Runner was not the comfortable ride I was use to. Every time I hit a bump in the road, it would swing me to the left or the right. Now that I have fitted my new tie rods, forget it, its like flying a plane, real smooth. I would recommend these rods without a doubt.
Since the vehicle is 21 years old, I highly recommend just replacing them both. You will need a steering alignment regardless, so just go ahead and do yourself the preventive care of getting that other one knocked out now.
No, the driver and passenger sides will take different parts and will not be interchangeable.
