Brought to you by 1AAuto.com: your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. Hi, I'm Mike Green, I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing and maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20 plus years' experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly. That's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video, we'll be showing you how to replace the front bumper mounted signal light. All you will need for tools is a Phillips screwdriver, and maybe a flashlight. To replace one of these bumper mounted signal lights, it's actually pretty easy. What you need is a longer Phillips screwdriver and it's kind of hard to see this screw, but you can see the plastic white collar there, right inside there, that guide you right to a Phillips screw and you want to remove that screw. A flashlight might help you out to look in there, see the screw and see what you're dealing with. You're then going to take the screwdriver, you feed it into that little plastic collar I showed you, and then you can feel once it grabs screw undo it. You may need another flat screwdriver, maybe you can just use your fingernail and once you get a certain way, you can just pull the light out like that and then the bulb twists and comes out so you can replace your bulb or replace your signal light if it's been damaged.
Obviously reinstalling is the opposite. Put it in, there's a tab that holds that into a slot here, you push the wiring back in, put that tab in. You can see the screw is still in your sleeve here so you push it in. Don't push it all the way in, just push and some of the way in. Get your screwdriver, again maybe use your flashlight here, located that screw and kind of press in with your screwdriver. It might take a second to get the screwdriver into the screw and then just press and turn to tighten up and you're all set.
