The tailgate handle works smoothly now. First: the delivery was 2 days later than stated. Second: the locking tab for one of the rods in the tailgate was broken (very brittle). Fortunately, I was able to remove one from the old latch to make it work. For the price the quality was okay but not worth 5 stars.
This part looked good and worked for maybe 5 openings and then it broke. I don't recommend this product.

Came with broken clips but was sent a replacement. Fast friendly and I didn't ask to have the product replaced as it was plastic clips but no complaints here.
My tailgate handle replacement was a perfect match, received in a timely manner...at a fair price. Would totally recommend A1 to anyone considering an auto parts purchase, I had a very positive experience!
The tailgate handle on my T100 broke the same day I was going to order an unrelated part for a different vehicle. So I checked and 1A Auto had one. Remove and replace was easy. Both the OEM and this replacement are made of plastic, but this replacement handle feels thicker in the area where the OEM part broke. Replacement handle is not chrome color, but my T100 is not a show truck.
