Bought this Taurus fan to custom fit into my 86 300zx. Was delivered in perfect shape and runs flawlessly so far.
Very clean new piece. This is the two speed version so for my purposes it works well. I'm using this to cool a 12 valve Cummins and it's working well so far. Low speed for ac and high for cooling, it doesn't stay on long to do its job. Just use a big relay to avoid burning them up because of the amp draw, I'm using 200 amp starter relays. Also make sure not to have both speeds wired to come on at the same time.
I'm using this fan to pull air through a 2 row (1 inch tubes) crossflow radiator with a core size of 22.5.x 17. 125 to cool a Dodge 383ci engine...works great.
I use this fan in my '77 CJ7 (perfect upgrade from mechanical to electrical). I control it with a unit from Delta Current Control. It contains its own relays and keeps my temp real low, even in the canyons. Perfect solution for me. I can't post a url here but go to dccontrol dot com
