I liked the metal retainer clip. Gloss paint may last longer than last one, flat finish, we'll see. OEM handle lasted 20 years. Everything I've purchased from 1AAuto has been great, control arms, axle shafts, all great quality. Astro/Safari door handles are just known to be a poor design, they break too easily. I hate replacing these handles, second time I replaced it, last one lasted only two years (amazon) pot metal, porous, hinge pin was also creeping out, smh Anyway thanks 1AAuto.
The door handle its slf was good but it was difficult to replace the old one!

A1 Auto has always sent me exactly what I needed and received it quickly. I will always use them for parts
I actually bought door handles, for either side of my van, from different sellers. Whatever the other one was, it did not make sufficient movement in the linkage to open the door. I replaced it with another A1 Auto handle and it worked.
