For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.hi a1 auto parts. - the above driver side interior door handle was delivered on time and i installed it on my 01 mercury grand marquis. it is working fine and appears to be a quality product from TRQ. however there was a problem with it which required me to carefully snip the tip of one of the 2 pins which hold the gears when you actuate the handle. otherwise the piece wont slide in to its mounting face and line up the hold down screw. on the original this was not a problem as the pin ends were flush with the moulnting surface. the protruding pin end blocked the installation. it was either a manufacturing mistake or the wrong pin(too long). had to delicately use a bolt cutter snipper. please advise on whether you can correct this as i will purchase again when needed(usually lasts about 3-4 years). noticed too that dorman aftermarket part has the same issue. thanks tons bob fisher jensen beach , fl 34957
