This is the outer window sweep, also called a window weatherstrip, window ledge weatherstrip, and outer door to window seal. This seal "sweeps" against the window to prevent dirt and debris from getting in to the door. This is the left hand or drivers side weatherstrip.

Great replacement part. I had ordered one of these from another company and installed on my 1984 Corvette, part was of poor quality and left marks all over the glass. I then order one from 1A Auto, 100% better part. Worked perfect.
